The couple who admitted to their roles in a federal jury tampering investigation were both spared jail time.

Co-defendants Raymond Martinez and Juanita Moser Martinez were sentenced to timed served before Senior Judge Susan Mollway in the District Court of Guam.

The pair were placed on one-year supervised release.

The court dismissed the superseding indictment.

As KUAM reported, two admitted to attempting to influence jurors in their drug case back in 2018 to vote not guilty.

After two mistrials in the drug case, the couple were tried in California and convicted.
