Six promoted to Customs and Quarantine Officer III

Six Guam Customs and Quarantine officers are promoted to the position of CQ III.

A ceremony was held at Adelup Thursday afternoon. 

Congratulations to Officers Sheena Alvarez, Maryann Barcinas, Jonathan Calvo, Patrick Gray, Adam Grey, and Czarina Perez.

Each of them has served anywhere from 11 to 21 years in the agency, largely within the Inspection and Control and Special Enforcement Divisions, which require direct interaction with the community and demand immediate engagement in various enforcement operations to address incoming threats.

The promotees were joined by their loved ones. 

These officers join 21 fellow CQ III’s, who make up approximately 20% of the agency’s 136-officer workforce.
