The republican majority for the 38th Guam Legislature has selected their committee chairs.
Incoming Vice Speaker Tony Ada will chair the Committee on Rules, Land, Housing, Environment, Agriculture, and Parks.
Senator Chris Duenas will chair General Government Operations and Appropriations.
Senator-elect Sabrina Salas Matanane will chair Health and Veterans Affairs.
Senator-elect Shawn Gumataotao will chair Public Safety and Emergency Management.
Senator-elect Vince Borja will chair Education, Communications, and Public Broadcasting.
Senator-elect Shelly Calvo will chair Child Welfare, Youth affairs, Senior Citizens, Women's Affairs, Disability Services, The Arts, Culture, Historic Preservation, and Hagatna Restoration.
Senator Jesse Lujan will chair Transportation, Tourism, Customs, Federal and Foreign Affairs, Utilities and Infrastructure.
And Senator Telo Taitague will chair Economic Investment, Military Build Up, Regional Relations, Retirement, Regulatory Affairs, Technology and Justice.
