A federal jury is deadlocked in the trial against an inmate accused of selling meth in prison.
Defendant Richard Espedion was on trial in the District Court of Guam.
The jury however could not deliberate on a unanimous verdict.
The court declared a mistrial.
As reported, more than half a pound of meth inside clear straws and baggies, glass pipes, bongs, vapes, cellphones, sim cards, and cigarettes were found hidden inside his cell at the Department of Corrections prison.
Co-defendant John Boy Duenas has admitted to his part in the case.
Espedion is back in court on Dec. 16 to find out what happens next.
