Drunk driver who crashed into car dealership to be released from prison
The man accused of drunk driving and crashing into Guam Autospot back in August is granted his request to be released from prison.
Defendant Bintenson Simina will be placed under house arrest.
Simina will be watched by four third-party custodians after getting out of jail Friday afternoon. One of whom must be with the defendant at all times.
Prosecutors did not oppose the request.
Magistrate Judge Jonathan Quan released him on a $10,000 bond.
Simina, who faces charges of vehicular negligence and drunk driving, was driving a Triple J company car without permission at the time of the crash.
The crash left a couple seriously injured and caused major damage to the car dealership.
