This Christmas season, the Office of the Attorney General celebrates four extraordinary individuals who remind us of the true spirit of giving and community.

Patrick Uncangco, who risked his safety to subdue a felony suspect wanted by law enforcement.

Debra Bute, who stopped to help an injured man on the road while others drove past.

Then, Echovera Choun, who bravely saved two women and disarmed their machete-wielding assailant.

Last, Joe Perez, who followed a robber who assaulted an elderly woman and ensured the police were alerted.

These four Good Samaritans gave a priceless gift: The gift of safety, compassion, and humanity.

Their actions remind us that Christmas is not just about receiving but about giving to our community and to each other.

As you go about this holiday season, the OAG reminds you to remember their examples!
