GTA and OBRA have unveiled a new mural in Barrigada promoting school zone safety and community pride.

The mural is located across from Untalan Middle School and was created in partnership with the local artist collective OBRA. 

It emphasizes the importance of school zone safety, encouraging drivers to slow down and remain vigilant in the area.

Designed by Olivia Newman, Novem Gimoto, and Marcus Villaverde, the mural features the school’s mascot, the Untalan Wildcat.

This artwork is part of the GTA Village Mural Project, which has completed six murals across the island, each promoting messages that uplift and inspire local communities.

The mural shows GTA’s and OBRA’s commitment to community enrichment, and a reminder to prioritize school zone safety for the future generation.
