Governor's Christmas Parade makes a grand return tonight at 7 p.m.
The 2024 Governor’s Christmas Parade is set for Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at the Skinner Plaza in Hagåtña.
The festivities kick off at 6 p.m., with the parade set to begin at 7 p.m., starting in front of the Hagåtña Post Office.
There are a total of 36 floats and marching units in addition to 25 vendor booths.
In line with the event, road closures will occur in the surrounding area starting at 2 p.m.
These road closures will impact:
- West O’Brien and Aspinall Lane
- Chalan Santo Papa Juan Pablo Dos and Aspinall Lane
- Chalan Santo Papa Juan Pablo Dos and Archbishop Felixberto Flores St.
- Archbishop Felixberto Flores St. and Guam Congress Building parking lot
- W. Soledad Ave and Seaton Blvd.
- W. Soledad Ave and Murray Blvd.
- Murray Blvd. and parking lot entrance for Razzano Walsh & Torres, P.C.
This year's theme, “The Colors of Christmas,” promises a vibrant celebration of the season, highlighting the diversity that makes Guam unique.
Since its debut in 2022, the Governor’s Christmas Parade has grown into a signature event of the Leon Guerrero-Tenorio Administration, becoming a cherished tradition for families and the community.
The event complements the annual Christmas light display at Skinner Plaza, offering an unforgettable evening filled with festive sights, sounds, and the spirit of giving.
