The Guam Power Authority announced the Baseload unit Piti #9 returned to service last night at around 9:25 p.m. and is currently operating at a limited capacity of 26 MW.

Baseload unit Cabras #2 repairs are underway and are anticipated to return to service sometime this week.

Yigo CT is still undergoing repairs to its hydraulic system.

Last night, some residents experienced power outages due to the partial implementation of the rotating outage schedule that commenced at around 6:16 p.m. due to limited generation capacity.

A total of 15 feeders were affected, with the shortest outage lasting 21 minutes and the longest outage lasting 57 minutes.

At around 9:28 p.m., all feeders were restored and load shedding concluded. As online generation increases and additional units are brought up, GPA anticipates fewer load shedding occurrences.
