Stefen Camacho admits to using meth while on electronic monitoring
The man accused in a deadly armed robbery involving a tourist is given a slap on the wrist after he admitted to smoking meth while out on electronic monitoring.
Defendant Stefen Camacho appeared before Judge John Terlaje in Superior Court today.
Camacho, who is being watched by third-party custodians, admitted that he got meth from a friend who paid him a visit.
Judge Terlaje told him he was not allowed to have visitors or do drugs.
Probation recommended ten days in prison, but gave him a second chance requesting that those ten days be suspended.
The court granted the request.
Camacho is set to go to trial on Jan. 15.
As KUAM reported, Camacho and Keoki Santos allegedly planned to rob tourists after the pair lost money gambling last month.
Santos, who authorities believe was the shooter, died by suicide.
