The Archdiocese of Agaña is mourning the passing of Father Antonino Caminiti, also known as Father Nino, who passed away Sunday evening, Dec. 15, at the age of 69.

Nightly Rosaries and Masses will take place at Niño Perdido y Sagrada Familia Church in Asan, starting tonight, Dec. 16, and continuing through December 24.

Mass of Intentions is scheduled for 6 p.m., followed by the Rosary.

Final respects will be held on Thursday, Dec.  26, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Niño Perdido y Sagrada Familia Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon, with interment at Pigo Catholic Cemetery in Anigua.

Father Nino served the Archdiocese of Agaña for 16 years, having been ordained on Nov. 8, 2008.

His longest service was at Niño Perdido y Sagrada Familia, where he served as Parochial Vicar and later as Pastor for nearly a decade. He also ministered in Ordot and Yigo.

The archdiocese announced his sudden passing a month after Fr. Caminiti was under investigation for allegations of clergy sexual conduct and has undergone intensive renewal programs.
