The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands remembers and honors the life and legacy of George N. Camacho, a devoted public servant and passionate advocate for the CNMI community.

Governor Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Governor David M. Apatang express their deepest respect for Mr. Camacho’s lifelong dedication to public service. 

His career included serving as a legislative assistant in the CNMI Legislature’s Legislative Bureau, seven years as a distinguished member of the CNMI House of Representatives, and as Director of the Criminal Justice Planning Agency.

As CJPA Director, Camacho worked tirelessly to enhance agency operations, ensuring federal grants and programs served the community effectively. 

Beyond his professional achievements, he was a champion for youth development, contributing to the Natibu Sports Association and coaching Saipan’s Little League program.

Camacho’s humility, leadership, and commitment to the CNMI will leave a lasting impact. The people of the Commonwealth extend their heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations
