A man with a federal warrant out for his arrest is taken into custody after authorities received a report of a suspicious person walking in Asan early Tuesday morning.

Twenty-seven-year-old Julian Jay Aguigui Jr. is charged with assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest.

Court documents state officers spotted Aguigui in the area and was told he had just come from a friend’s house.

Aguigui allegedly told police, “Just take me in,” before admitting he had a warrant out for his arrest.

During his arrest, Aguigui allegedly tried to heat butt the officer before swinging and injuring two of them.

He was eventually placed in handcuffs and taken into custody.
