Pair arrested in Tamuning drug raid
A couple was arrested after a drug raid was executed at an apartment building in Tamuning early Tuesday morning.
Joseph John Sablan, 55, and Kathleen Christina Walerski, 32, are each charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
Guam police and federal task force officers raided the Grenada Apartments around 6 a.m. after investigating that drugs were being sold from one of the units.
The suspects along with two children were found inside the apartment.
During a search, authorities found more than 12 grams of meth, digital scales and baggies with meth residue.
Sablan allegedly told officers the meth was for personal use.
But, Walkerski allegedly admitted she knew drugs were being sold, adding she did what she had to do in order to keep herself and her children off the streets.
