Attorney General Douglas Moylan continued his “Changing Our Kids DNA School Outreaches” with an event at J.P. Torres Success Academy, addressing students aged 18 to 21 who are working toward their high school diplomas.

The presentation focused on two key issues: Child support responsibilities and fighting meth addiction and dealers.

The event showed the importance of staying on track to achieve educational and life goals.

Joining the AG was Deputy Ray Ilagan and Mike Salas, a recovering meth addict, who shared his powerful story to deter students from making harmful choices.

Principal Asherdee Rosete and staff welcomed the outreach, which is part of the Attorney General’s ongoing Meth Kills and Be Smart, Don’t Start campaigns, launched in October.

Attorney General Moylan emphasized the importance of building a foundation of respect for the law, community, and self to deter crime and reduce violence.
