Guam's Attorney General is not accepting any excuses from the administration to tackle his call for 100% meth inspections at the Port Authority of Guam.

Similarly, Port leadership is coming to the administration's defense over their meeting being canceled for a second time.

This after the AG called out the Governor for not being available once again.

AG Doug Moylan today sent out a 100-page document of his action plan for meth interdiction at the port.

Moylan stated, “Huge red flags were uncovered” specifically claiming “150 containers a month with tampered safety seals are being found to have been missing, broken or replaced with other seal Customs uses.”

The AG is calling for the Governor to have the National Guard assist Customs.

He was pushing for the Governor to reconsider and still host the meeting today but Adelup is already working on scheduling a new date.

Additionally, Port General Manager Rory Respicio issued a news release stating they remain steadfast in supporting Guam Customs to inspect and protect the island from illegal drugs.

Respicio stated in part, “Today's meeting was rescheduled due to my unexpected unavailability. I apologize if this created the impression that the governor is  slow-walking efforts to address AG Moylan's claims."

The Port GM also included a list of infrastructure enhancements and security upgrades his agency has since implemented.
