You have until December 20 to get Danielle Apilado to semifinals

Local baker Danielle Apilado is calling on you to help her move onto the next phase of The Greatest Baker competition. 

As we reported it was at the end of October that Apilado was selected to be part of the online competition by notable pastry chef Buddy Valastro. The People's Choice prize is $20,000, a meet-and-greet with Valastro, and a two-page spread in Bake From Scratch Magazine. 

Since the start of the competition, Apilado has been ranked 1st but in order to advance to the semifinals, she needs to place first in her division. Over the past few days, she has bounced between 4th place, 2nd place, and the top spot. As of newstime, she is in 3rd.

Apilado wants to thank you all for getting her this far in the competition. She said, "It means the world to me and i promise to give back when we win this for our island!"

Remember, you have have until fri., dec. 20 at 1pm to vote and get her into the semifinals, so get to it!
