Man arrested in crowbar attack
A man allegedly admitted to police that he attacked another man with a crowbar stating the victim “basically got what was coming for him.”
Thirty-year-old Carlos Joseph Salas Jr. is charged with aggravated assault.
Court documents state, on Dec. 16, a witness told police the victim had been hit with a crowbar resulting in a head injury.
A witness also told authorities they saw the defendant and another man enter the home before hearing the victim shouting and covered in blood.
The alleged victim initially refused to tell an officer who was responsible.
He was treated at the Guam Regional Medical City.
Salas allegedly denied knowing what happened to the victim, but accused the victim of hitting his car with a baseball bat.
