Guahan Academy Charter School students Summer EBT 2024 card distribution

The Department of Public Health & Social Services is excited to announce the launch of the 2024 Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer Program, or S-EBT. 

Eligible families can access vital benefits to support their children’s nutritional needs.  

Who qualifies? 

• Children enrolled in a school that participates in the National School Lunch or School Breakfast Program anytime between July 1, 2023, and Aug. 21, 2024.  
• School-age children not enrolled in an NSLP/SBP school but participating in SNAP or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families during the same period.

If your child already has an S-EBT card, benefits automatically were loaded on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, at 7 p.m. and will be available for immediate use.  

For families requiring new or replacement cards, here’s the distribution schedule:  

Guahan Academy Charter School students

• Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024 
• Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Location: GACS Cafeteria, Mariner Avenue, Tiyan

GDOE and DoDEA students

• Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, & Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025
• 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.   
• Location: George Washington High School Cafeteria, University of Guam campus  

Early line cutoffs may occur depending on the volume of attendees.  

Important reminders for households:

• Each eligible student will receive a one-time benefit of $177.  
• Children cannot receive S-EBT benefits from more than one state or exceed the $177 benefit from Guam.  
• Parents/guardians must notify Guam DPHSS if duplicate benefits are received. Any unauthorized cards or benefits must be destroyed immediately.  
• No cards will be issued for children under the custody of Child Protective Services; SNAP will coordinate directly with CPS.  

This supplemental benefit, administered locally by the Department of Public Health & Social Services in partnership with the Guam Department of Education, is federally funded through the Food and Nutrition Services of the United States Department of Agriculture.
