The CNMI Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Service and the CHCC Public Health and Hospital Emergency Preparedness Program/ Medical Reserve Corps hosted the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation CPR and First Aid Training at the Crowne Plaza on Saipan Monday.

Officials said the CPR and First Aid training are crucial components of the Medical Reserve Corps training, adding these skills are vital for enabling our volunteers and healthcare professionals to provide critical assistance during emergencies.

CHC stated, “By providing CPR and First Aid training, we are ensuring that the MRC Volunteers are prepared to respond effectively to medical emergencies, reduce the severity of injuries, and support local health systems during times of crisis. This training strengthens the overall resilience of our community by building a network of trained individuals who can maintain public health and safety.”

A total of 14 volunteers participated.
