The University of Guam is now accepting abstracts for its 16th annual Conference On Island Sustainability, a premier event focused on solutions for a sustainable future for island communities.

Set for April 7 to April 12, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Guam, the conference’s theme is “Solutions for our Future.” 

It will bring together researchers, policymakers, and community members. 

Presentations and workshops will address key topics within the Guam Green Growth five categories of action: Healthy Communities, Sustainable Homes, Education, Natural Resources, and Alliances.

UOG President Anita Borja Enriquez and Governor Lou Leon Guerrero will co-chair the event. 

Enriquez highlighted the conference’s significance in sharing research and practical solutions to build a greener future for islands globally.

Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts by Feb. 14, 2025.
