Complaint: drug dealer leads police on chase on stolen bike
A man who led Guam Police on a chase before being caught with drugs is placed under arrest.
24-year-old Patrick Anthony Padua Jr. is charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute, theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a schedule II controlled substance and eluding a police officer.
Court documents state Padua was spotted in Tamuning Friday on a motorcycle that was reported stolen.
Padua led officers on a chase before crashing.
During a search, authorities found more than 23 grams of meth and a glass pipe with meth residue.
Padua allegedly told police he found a bag with the drugs at a home in sinajana and planned to sell it after smoking some of it.
He also allegedly admitted he had exchanged a car for the bike even after knowing it may have been stolen.
