Convicted robber AJ Toves loses appeal
A man convicted in an armed robbery at a Harmon business lost his appeal in the Supreme Court of Guam.
Defendant AJ Muna Toves asked justices to overturn his conviction arguing there was insufficient evidence to sustain his robbery conviction among other reasons.
Toves was convicted of second-degree robbery along with a special allegation of use of a deadly weapon.
He was accused of holding a cashier at gunpoint in 2022 and demanding money.
Justices affirmed the judgment of conviction.
