The University of Guam wants a discrimination lawsuit filed against them dismissed.
Norman Analista, a former university director, alleges malice, oppression and fraud in the lawsuit filed in the District Court of Guam contending UOG had no reason to terminate his employment.
Attorney Phil Torres, who represents the university and its president, argues the federal court does not have jurisdiction to hear the lawsuit, adding Analista failed to allege a plausible claim of retaliation and gender discrimination.
UOG has denied the allegations and wants a federal judge to toss the case.
A hearing date has not yet been scheduled.
