Drug defendant caught with meth
A drug defendant awaits his day in court and finds himself locked up again after being caught with meth.
Thirty-six-year-old Andrew Yamasta is charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of a schedule II controlled substance, along with a special allegation of felony committed on felony release.
Court documents state police pulled Yamasta over Saturday.
During a search, officers found more than 10 grams of meth.
Authorities note the amount is commonly known for distribution and not personal use.
Documents state Yamasta was on pretrial release in connection to a 2018 drug case.
His bail was set at $5,000 cash.
