Complaint: Tamuning robber threatened to throw victim off roof
A convicted robber is back in prison facing similar charges.
Thirty-year-old Atanacio Cepeda is charged with second-degree robbery, theft of property and assault. The charges include special allegations of felony on felony release.
Court documents state Cepeda approached the victims on the roof of the Ypao Garden condos in Tamuning asking them where a woman named “Denise” was.
The victims remained calm saying they were the only ones there before Cepeda allegedly threatened to throw them off the roof.
Cepeda allegedly grabbed one victim’s cell phone before taking off.
Police used the phone to track him down and take him into custody.
He's being held on $5,000 cash bail.
As KUAM reported, Cepeda admitted to robbery and terrorizing charges in 2022 for attacking and threatening to kill his victim.
