Oversight hearing requested to address Guam Homeland Security overtime audit
The Guam Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defense could take the hot seat before its legislative committee oversight.
Senator Telo Taitague requested chairman Senator Shawn Gumataotao hold an immediate oversight hearing.
As reported, the public auditor found $2.8 million in questioned costs directly related to overtime.
Senator Taitague stating the allegations of co-mingling federal funds with other federal grants, are deeply troubling and require urgent action.
