An undercover drug operation led to two people being placed under arrest on Saipan. 

Juan Rios Taitano and Victoria Aldan Reyes were arrested on suspicion of illegal possession and trafficking of a controlled substance.

On Tuesday, CNMI Department of Public Safety Drug Enforcement Task Force officers did an undercover drug buy.

Investigators purchasing more than three grams of cocaine before taking the pair into custody. 

Each are being held on $25,000 bail.
