Adacao Elementary School earns “A” grade in sanitation inspection
The Guam Department of Education announced that Adacao Elementary School has achieved an impressive result in the annual health inspection conducted by the Department of Public Health and Social Services.
The school earned an “A” grade with only eight demerits, a significant improvement from last year’s inspection, where it received 22 demerits, equivalent to a “C” grade.
GDOE Superintendent Dr. Erik Swanson commended the Adacao Elementary team, saying, “We are incredibly proud of Adacao Elementary School
for their exceptional performance in this year’s health inspection. This accomplishment is a testament to the collective efforts of our educators, students, and families in prioritizing health and safety. Their dedication and hard work have truly paid off, and this achievement sets a shining example for all schools within our district. Together, we are building a healthier, safer, and more vibrant learning environment for our children.”
Principal Janice Chargualaf expressed gratitude to the teachers, staff, community volunteers, and partners such as Adacao PTO, GDOE Facilities & Maintenance, GEFF, GFS, and the Mangilao Mayor’s Office for their vital contributions.
“This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire community,” she said. “Our school community and partners are committed to the well-being of our students, and the support from our families and volunteers has been invaluable.”
