The ribbon is cut on the new Barrigada gymnasium.

Funded by the Department of the Interior, this state-of-the-art facility sits at the heart of Barrigada, adjacent to the village church, playground, and mayor’s office.

The ribbon cutting ceremony turned into a joyous celebration for the Barrigada Crusaders, as the village’s beloved teams quickly took to the court to showcase their skills.

The $1.2 million open-air gymnasium was constructed by Mega United.

Late last year, new gyms were unveiled in Malesso and Dededo.

In the coming weeks, ribbon cuttings for a new gym in Mangilao and a renovated Tamuning gym will take place.
