A man is arrested in connection to an axe attack in Dededo.

Forty-year-old Michael Cardenas is charged with aggravated assault and assault.

Court documents state the victims saw Cardenas standing in the living room holding an axe.

Cardenas allegedly swung the axe at the victim’s knee before continuing to swing it repeatedly.

During a struggle, the axe cut the victim on his wrist.

Records note Cardenas was arrested last April on theft related charges.

He is being held on $5,000 cash bail.
