Drug dealer gets twelve and a half years
Twelve and a half years in prison. That's how long a convicted drug dealer will spend in federal prison.
Joselito Lumanlan Cura was sentenced in the District Court of Guam this week.
Last summer, a jury found him guilty of distribution and possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of meth.
The jury acquitted him of the illegal weapons possession charge.
As reported, the case involves more than $30,000, at least 350 grams of meth seized, and several handguns and rifles.
Cura is fighting his conviction before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
