A Chinese national accused of trying to sneak onto Guam by boat has been ordered to be removed and sent back to the CNMI.

Defendant Fengguo Fan along with four others were indicted the day after Christmas on charges of conspiracy and aiding and abetting transportation of illegal aliens.

The group allegedly paid an unindicted co-conspirator more than $6,000 to take them from Saipan to Guam by boat believing they could illegally work on Guam without getting caught.

District Court of Guam Magistrate Judge Michael Bordallo granted a writ of removal for Fan to be sent back to the CNMI.

Last week, co-defendant Lianmin Song reportedly admitted to his role in the scheme.
