Generosity was on full display this Giving Tuesday as our community came together to make a difference. Through the 'K is for Kindness' campaign, KUAM CareForce, along with local schools, businesses, and individuals, showed what it means to give back.

On Giving Tuesday, December 3, the spirit of giving spread across Guam as the campaign inspired acts of generosity from people of all ages. A donation drive at Kmart saw hundreds of items collected for those in need, including foster children supported by Child Protective Services, Catholic Social Services, and the Salvation Army.

This year, KUAM CareForce teams were joined by an incredible group of high school spark ambassadors. These student leaders took the reins of service projects, spreading kindness and creating a ripple effect of compassion throughout the island.

The hard work and generosity culminated in a special donation presentation held on Thursday, January 16, at the Department of Public Health and Social Services Foster Care's Infant Division which received much-needed support from the campaign.

These donations make a world of difference for foster families and children in their care.

Since becoming Guam's official Giving Tuesday ambassador in 2020, KUAM CareForce has rallied businesses, schools, and community leaders to join this global day of generosity. Together, they’ve created lasting impacts, proving that kindness truly begins with us.

The KUAM CareForce wishes to thank  everyone who contributed to this year’s 'K is for Kindness' campaign. Your generosity will make a difference for so many in our community.
