Manslaughter defendant resentenced to 15 years in prison
A manslaughter convict who won his appeal in the high court was resentenced to serve 15 years in prison.
Defendant Branty Walliby, who previously got a 21 year sentence, appeared before Judge Alberto Tolentino in Superior Court today.
As KUAM reported, Justices in the Supreme Court ruled the sentencing illegal stating he is a first offender.
Walliby and his brother Jerron were accused in the deadly 2022 attack along Fatima Road that claimed the life of Arnold Narruhn.
