Convicted drug kingpins Richard Toves Cabaccang and Roy Toves Cabaccang will be released from federal prison this year.

Former President Joe Biden commuted their life sentences under the executive grant of clemency.

Richard is now set to be released on March 18, while Roy is set to be released on July 16.

KUAM News files show the pair were convicted for heading one of the biggest drug empires in Guam in the 90s, smuggling drugs from California to the island.

In 2017, former President Barack Obama commuted the sentence for co-defendant James Toves Cabaccang.
