Guam's Delegate James Moylan has been assigned to several key roles in the 119th United States Congress, expanding his influence and advocacy for the island.

Moylan will serve on two subcommittees of the House Foreign Affairs Committee: East Asia and Pacific, and South and Central Asia, Overseeing Crucial Regional Policies impacting Guam.

He was also named republican co-Chair of the House Philippines Friendship Caucus, focusing on strengthening ties between Guam and the Philippines.

Additionally, he was elected Vice Chairman of the Republican Study Committee’s National Security Task Force, promoting peace and a strong national defense.

Moylan said these appointments are crucial for advocating Guam's priorities and building relationships that will drive policy for the island. This follows his recent assignments to subcommittees on readiness and seapower in the house armed services committee.
