The Guam Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of the 2024 Toys for Tots High School challenge, a holiday tradition that encourages students to give back to the community.
Okkodo High School took the top spot in the large school division, donating an impressive 1,341 toys, while Notre Dame High School led the small school division with 181 toys collected.
The program would like to send a warm Si Yu’os Ma’ase to all participating high schools for their generosity in supporting Toys for Tots in 2024:
Also recognized was Santa Barbara Catholic School, which, although not a high school, collected toys for the program this year.
All donations will help local children in need through partnerships with organizations like the Salvation Army, Catholic Social Service, and Guam Memorial Hospital.
The Marine Corps Toys for Tots program has a 77-year legacy of spreading holiday cheer nationwide, and this year, Guam's schools made a meaningful impact on their community.
