Congressman Moylan clarifies on the state of FEMA
Delegate James Moylan responded to concerns about potential changes to FEMA operations under the Trump-Vance administration.
In a statement released this afternoon, Moylan reassured residents of Guam that federal disaster aid is not in jeopardy.
While discussions about shifting disaster recovery authority to state governments are ongoing, Moylan emphasized there are no guarantees FEMA will be dismantled.
He also highlighted Guam's vulnerability to natural disasters, given its location in a typhoon-prone area, and the importance of continued recovery support.
He added that updates will be shared as discussions progress.
