Liguan Elementary School is celebrating a major improvement in its sanitation score, earning an “A” grade with just eight demerits in its latest inspection by Public Health.

Last year, the school received a “B” grade with 16 demerits, making this year's results a testament to the hard work and dedication of the LES team.

Superintendent Dr. Erik Swanson praised the school community for their commitment to safety and cleanliness, calling it a “shining testament to resilience.”

Principal Johansen Punongbayan thanked staff, students, and maintenance teams for their efforts in ensuring a safe learning environment.

The Guam Department of Education hopes this achievement inspires other schools to strive for excellence in sanitation and safety.
