Police investigate deadly crash in Harmon
Police are investigating the crash that claimed the life of a mother hit by a car in Harmon last month.
Officers with the Guam Police Department's Highway Patrol Division spent the morning back at the scene along Route 16.
On Jan. 13, 45-year-old Antoinette Arriola was crossing the busy street when she was hit by a car heading north.
She died in the hospital more than two weeks later after suffering from head and leg injuries.
North and southbound lanes near the GU Self Storage were temporarily closed early Monday, while investigators were conducting drone mapping of where the crash occurred.
As KUAM reported, the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene and spoke with police.
Arriola's family launched a GoFundMe account to raise funds for funeral expenses.
