Sanchez High students arrested in Tamuning store robbery
Two students with Simon Sanchez High are taken into police custody following a robbery at a Tamuning store.
Eighteen-year-old Gabriel Giltimngin is charged with third-degree robbery.
The second suspect is a 17-year-old.
Court documents state the suspects, who police identify as brothers, attacked an employee at the store after being caught trying to steal liquor.
The store’s loss prevention staff told police the pair have a history of stealing from them.
Authorities tracked down the pair at John F. Kennedy High School where they are attending a double session.
Giltamngin allegedly admitted to the robbery telling police he gave the stolen bottle of liquor to another student.
