A man who admitted he tried to have sex with a teenage girl he met online gets 10 years in federal prison.

Defendant Ricky Junior Quichoho was sentenced before chief Judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood in the District Court of Guam today.

He pleaded guilty to attempted enticement of a minor.

The case unfolded last May after the feds went undercover pretending to be a 13-year-old girl on a social media app.

Quichocho exchanged sexually explicit messages with the undercover agent.

He agreed to meet them at Andersen Air Force Base where he was taken into custody.

Quichocho will also serve five years’ supervised release.
