Filipino-cultural school Eskwelahang Munti opens registration for February
A local Filipino cultural school is inviting students to explore their heritage through language, history, and tradition.
Eskwelahang Munti ng Guam, a Filipino-language and cultural school, has officially opened registration for its spring session running from Feb. 15 to May 2, 2025.
Organized by the Filipino Cultural Center with support from the Philippine Consulate General and the Filipino Community of Guam, the program aims to teach Filipino language, history, folk dances, music, and core values.
Principal Gloria Baguinon said the school has been helping young Filipinos on Guam connect with their heritage since 2010.
Classes will be held every Saturday in Dededo, with a one-time registration fee of $50, while instruction remains free.
