The Guam Visitors Bureau board members met Thursday afternoon for a special meeting.
The meeting was not open to the public as they went into executive session.
Behind closed doors, GVB discussed “potential litigation.” No word on what that litigation may be.
GVB Public Information Officer Lisa Bordallo only able to share that the meeting was reconvened until Feb. 17.
Also on the agenda was a resolution to hire a new general manager.
The search for a new leadership has been ongoing since former President and CEO Carl Gutierrez abruptly resigned in November following heated arguments with the board on a tourism recovery plan.
Thirteen applicants threw in their hats for consideration.
GVB’s search committee last recommended former Senator Regine Biscoe Lee as general manager and Island Beverage General Manager E.J. Calvo as deputy general manager.
