Man gets three years in burglary
A man arrested in a Thanksgiving Day burglary learned his fate in local court.
Defendant Skante Louis, who pleaded guilty to burglary, was sentenced before Judge Maria Cenzon in Superior Court on Monday.
Louis apologized for his actions stating he fell into a life of drugs and alcohol.
As reported, Louis was caught on video surveillance grabbing a crowbar from a shelf at the victim’s residence and breaking into a storage room where he stole a gas tank.
