A man accused in a home invasion in Asan three years ago learned his fate in the superior court today.
Bruce Pascual Charfauros pleaded guilty to illegal weapons possession charges.
Judge Maria Cenzon sentenced him to five years in prison with credit for time served.
Prosecutors agreed to dismiss the home invasion, burglary and illegal drugs charges.
He was ordered to stay away from the victim.
The court noted his criminal history goes back to 1994.
Charfauros told the judge he takes full responsibility for his actions, while also blaming the government for not helping him turn his life around.
