Two men authorities say were involved in violent gang activity are both seeking deportation deals with the prosecution. 

Defendant Mesemwan Repwak and June Monu appeared before Judge Vernon Perez in superior court on Thursday. 

The court is expected to severe the cases. 

Trial for the pair was set to behin on February 19th but that start day is now expected to be delayed. 

As reported, Repwak pleaded not guilty to charges filed against him in multiple criminal cases including attempted murder. 

Monu is facing charges of aggravated assault, use of a deadly weapon, terrorizing, and reckless conduct.

The pair led authorities on a manhunt after a spree of violent gang activity targeting drivers on the road to include a shooting in maite that injured a teenage girl.
