Air Force civilian arrested in burglary caught on camera

A civilian employee on Andersen Air Force Base under arrest after being caught stealing from a service member’s work desk.
63-year-old Joseph Pangelinan is charged with burglary, theft of property and criminal trespass.
Court documents state the victim installed a ring camera following a string of thefts at his office.
On Sunday, the victim spotted Pangelinan allegedly rummaging through his desk before using the recording device to instruct the defendant to leave.
The victim also alleged money was taken from his desk.
Authorities note Pangelinan was not authorized to be in the squadron office.
He declined to speak with officers after being taken into custody.
