Artspace Guåhan is hosting an exciting Paint Party in celebration of Mes CHamoru, honoring the island’s rich culture and the remarkable Ko’ko’ bird, a symbol of resilience and preservation.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at CAHA, DNA Building, Suite 238, Hagåtña.

Led by local artist Fawn Nadine, attendees will create a Ko’ko’-inspired painting while enjoying a relaxed and festive atmosphere complete with wine and Chamorro-style finger foods.

This event not only celebrates the beauty of Guam’s indigenous wildlife but also helps support Artspace Guåhan’s mission of fostering creativity and cultural appreciation.

“The Ko’ko’ bird represents strength, perseverance, and the importance of protecting our island’s natural and cultural heritage. This event is a way for our community to come together, celebrate, and express their creativity,” said Fawn Nadine, Vice President of Artspace Guåhan and featured artist for the event.

With limited seating available, guests are encouraged to reserve their spots early.

Tickets are $70 per person, and proceeds will go toward sustaining Artspace Guåhan’s art initiatives.
